Book loans, dvd rental, free entertainment dvds, free internet access, adult book discussion, story times, adult and children programs, meeting room. Also have a Friends of the Library group that meets the second Thursday of every month. New members welcome.



Preschool Story Time: Wednesdays, December 4 - March 25 from 10 -11 AM. Listen to stories, music, watch a video and crafts. Registration for ages 3 - 6 years is required.

Make-It Take-It: Wednesday from 10 Am - 4:30 PM December 18 - Christmas craft, January 15 - Snowman craft, February 12 - Valentine craft

Paws to Read: Saturdays, Decembeer 5, January 4 and February 1 from 10 - 11 AM. Stop in and share a book with a registered therapy dog.

Dewey the Library Elf: December 9 - December 23. Find Dewey in the library, then stop at the circulation desk and tell us what he was doing to get a mini candy cane. Dewey likes to move around, so keep stopping by to see what he's up to.

Christmas Craft & Santa                                                                                                                                  Saturday, December 14 from 10 AM - 5 PM. Shreve Friends of the Library are again sponsoring craft weekend. Stop in and See Santa and make Christmas crafts for the family.

60's Vintage Rocking Christmas                                                                                                                      Thursday, December 5 from 6:30 - 7:30 PM Registration is required                                                              Bill Brauning is back with a program featuring clips of seasonal variety shows from the 60's, along with seasonal music artists as the Beach Boys, Gene Autry, The Four Seasons, Lousi Armstrong and many more.

Sewing Flannel Pillowcases, Saturday, December 7 from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM Registration is required        Rhonda will show you how to make a quick and easy homemade pillowcase you roll up in a tube and sew. Supplies will be furnished.

Decorate a Christmas Bulb, Tuesday, December 10 from 6 - 7:30 PM Registration is required                    Rhonda will show you how to decorate a clear Christmas bulb. Supplies will be furnished.

Tech Programs:

Glass Etched Ornaments, Thursday, December 12 from 4 - 5 PM Registration for ages 7 and up is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.                                                                                    Make holiday ornaments using glass etching cream and stencils cut from our Cricut Maker. You will also have the chance to personalize your ornament with a name.
